We had American Thanksgiving last night it went over really well all the trimmings.  30 people were there it was a multicultural thing.

The weather here is so strange some days it's beautiful and others you freeze.  When the sun is not around the weather is bone chilling.  I have a space heater in my room and I have been sleeping with it on for the past week or so!  However a few days ago I was out tanning by the pool.  figure that out.

Lori left for Greece a few days ago!  Her brother was here to visit first!

I'm trying to get some of my papers done before for I head home for Christmas.  So that I can enjoy the break.  My exams are not until after the Christmas break, the end of January.

It's graduation time here at the uni and it's so funny to watch how excited all the students are!

There have been about 8 birthdays at residence this month!  It was hectic!

Somedays the computer labs are freezing.  rite now it's hard to type my hands are so cold.  I don't know why they have the airconditioner on in the winter.

I received Peanut Butter from work back home and I made Peanut butter cookies for people because they've never had it before!  They really enjoyed them.  they've decieded that pnut butter to us is like nutella to them!  Note Nutella is soo good!  It's chocolate spread.  They put it on everything.

It's so strange to have Christmas decorations up everywhere with Palm trees and the warm sun!  But I like it!  christmas music playing from the shops that you can hear in the street!  I love it!

I bought my flat mates Christmas countdown calanders.  They've never done that before! Well the Italian's haven't.  Although on the 13th the receive sugar candies from the baby Jesus or something like that! They have that as a day of celebration.

My flatmate Chiara from Braesa (sp?) in Italy had an earthquake 2 nites ago in her home town at 2 am!  It was a 5.2 apparently they get one at least once a year but she was still concerned and not many people have land lines and she couldn't get a hold of her family when her friend sms'd her to tell her cause their mobiles were shut off for the night!

They European's text msg from the mobil's all the time.  It's crazy something I'm not used to but it's very nice it's only like 10cents a msg and it can have like 600 characters per msg.  Nice way to keep in touch!

I have a flat rule with the Italian's since their here to improve their english that if I'm in the room no Italian!  they are pretty good to do it although sometimes they forget when they have company!  All I do is look at them and they switch!  They're getting really good at English too!
